Pause: Fasting Tracker (Android app, package com.hundredships.pause) · Last updated 5 October 2026

Summary

Pause has no accounts and no server of its own. Your fasts, weights and notes stay on your phone.

Data stored on your device

The fasts you log (start and end times, goals, optional mood and notes), optional weight entries, your plan, reminder choices and app settings are kept in the app's private storage (and in your phone's own Android backup if you use it). We never receive them. This health-related information is not shared with anyone and is not used for advertising.

Advertising

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, including an optional rewarded ad you can choose to watch to export once. Ads are never shown on the timer or in widgets, and no fasting or weight data is passed to the ad network. Google may collect and use your device's advertising ID, approximate location (from your IP address), ad interactions and diagnostic data to show and measure ads, as described in Google's policy. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice at any time under Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.

Purchases

Pause Pro is sold through Google Play. We don't receive your payment details; Google Play tells the app only whether you own Pro.

Notifications, widgets and export

Reminders are scheduled on your phone and widgets read your data directly from the app. If you export a CSV file, it is saved where you choose; Pause does not send it anywhere.

Not medical advice

Pause is a timer and a log. It provides general information and is not a medical device.

Deleting your data

Everything Pause stores is on your phone. To delete it, delete fasts and weights in the app, clear the app's storage (Settings → Apps → Pause → Storage → Clear storage), or uninstall the app. We keep no copy, so there is nothing to request from us. Advertising data held by Google can be managed in your Google account.

Children

Pause is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.
